Jonathan’s analysis of the popular vote is the correct metric. Unfortunately the MSM is derelict in its duties by mostly adopting the Clinton’s campaign talking points on the popular vote. The election is not as close as Clinton would like to imply. If Florida and Michigan had kept their schedule, Senator Obama would have had an additional 500,000 to 750,000 votes.
Tonight Nightline finally broke the count down. Good job Tapper.
